Schools

From September to June, our qualified full-time coaches are working in three main areas within primary and secondary schools. These areas are Ballymena, Ballyclare and Newtownabbey.

Our schools ministry provides fun based learning for the pupils based on developing their technical skills. A standard session would include a warm-up/stretch, a selection of progressive drills based on a certain aspect of the game, a “centre-spot” lesson from the Bible and some competitive matches or small-sided games to finish.

When working with schools we understand the need to be flexible and so we aim to work towards the school’s needs as best as we are able to, partnering with the staff already in place in developing the young people socially, physically and spiritually.
