Standing on a football pitch I wanted the ground below me to open up there and then and swallow me up.
I had thought that that day many years ago at high school was going to be one of the best days of my life but shortly after the game had started it quickly turned into one of my worst. Last night I was at a baptismal service at my own church where I watched nine people from the age of 12 upwards declare in front of a packed hall that they were followers of Jesus Christ and committed to following Him.
It was amazing to watch. Before they actually were baptised in the tank at the front they each stood up and gave an account as to how they came to follow Jesus. [Read more...]
