Thursday 8th December was a ‘Special Treat’ night for the C4C Development centre. The boys and girls were treated to a night off-premises and were instead taken to the UUJ indoor 3G pitch for a night of World-cup fun and competition
Half-way through our matches, we had a guest speaker, Henry Montgomery, who is the minister of Ballycraigy Congregational Church. Henry came and spoke to the boys and girls about how Jesus is the ‘Living Water.’ Henry showed the children his water rucksack for when he is out running and talked about being thirsty, but with Jesus, He is the Living water and we would never go thirsty if we had him in our life.
Once the matches were finally over, the p4/5 went home with a special gift but the p6/7 +Yr 8′s headed back to the church for an amazing Christmas feast which the church had very kindly put together for the boys and girls. The boys and girls had an amazing night and here are a few photo’s showing the dinner put on after for them.
